LIVONIA, MICH. – A wave of excitement has swept through Madonna University's Nutrition and Dietetics (N&D) lab, as Bill & Rod's Appliances recently delivered a generous donation of state-of-the-art culinary equipment. This remarkable upgrade includes five stoves, a double oven, a countertop range, and a microwave, replacing the aging lab equipment and ushering in a new era of culinary possibilities for students and faculty alike. The university expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Tom Laabs, whose instrumental efforts secured this invaluable gift. 

Laura Kull, a dietetics professor here at Madonna University, shared her enthusiasm for the donation and immense educational potential it brings. "We'll be able to continue to provide the best quality instruction for our students," Kull remarked. The new equipment not only enhances the learning experience but also opens doors to exciting collaborations within the university. 

One of the most anticipated developments is the incorporation of food demonstrations tailored for athletes. With the assistance of interns from the master's program and in partnership with the Counseling Center, the N&D program at Madonna University aims to showcase proper cooking techniques that can positively impact students' lives.
