Are you a transfer student looking for instant admission to Madonna University? Drop in to our Transfer Tuesday event, hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions! While it is not mandatory, please consider submitting an RSVP so that we may best prepare for your visit.

  • Unofficial copies of transcripts from all previously attended institutions


  • Official copies of transcripts from all previously attended institutions IN AN UNOPENED, SEALED ENVELOPE.


What will I get out of this event?

  • A preliminary admissions decision to Madonna University!*
  • A transfer credit review. Become familiar with our Transfer Equivalency Guide, and chat with an Admissions Officer about courses that have not yet been evaluated by MU.
  • The chance to meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss Advising resources here on campus.
  • An introduction to orientation options. Complete the simple orientation process online, or attend in person for a personalized experience!


*Admissions decisions are contingent on later receiving a student’s completed online application and copies of official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.


We make transferring to Madonna University easy through personal attention so you can earn a quality, holistic education integrated with career preparation.

We are still accepting applications for Winter 2020 semester, which starts January 6. Get a jump start on finishing your education.

Required Materials 

  • Complete online application for undergraduate admissions
  • Official college transcript(s)
  • final transcript after all grades are posted
  • transcript from each college/university attended
  • AP, IB test score(s), if applicable

Admission Requirements

  • Cumulative college/university GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Good academic and personal standing at prior institutions
  • If fewer than 12 transferable credits, official high school transcript or equivalent transcript is required.
  • Applicants whose credentials do not satisfy the above criteria, but whose maturity indicates potential for success are eligible for provisional admission.

Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA)
Madonna University participates in the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) to facilitate transfer from Michigan community colleges.

A minimum of 30 credits must be taken at the community college to satisfy MTA, including:

  • 1 course in English Composition and a second English Composition or Communications course
  • 1 course in Mathematics from one of three pathways: College Algebra, Statistics, or Quantitative Reasoning
  • 2 courses in Social Sciences (from two disciplines)
  • 2 courses in Humanities and Fine Arts (from two disciplines, excluding studio and performance)
  • 2 courses in Natural Sciences including one with laboratory experience (from two disciplines)

With completion of MTA, Madonna University recognizes the Core Courses component of graduation requirements has been completed. The student’s official transcript from the two-year institution must indicate that the MTA has been satisfied.

Credit for Military Experience

Madonna University highly ecourages veterans to request to have their Joint Services Transcript submitted during the admission process to maximize the use of their military training and experience.  We will accept up to 60 credits of military credit towards a bachelor's degree.  To request your official JST transcript to be send to Madonna please visit: https://jst.doded.mil/official.html
