What is the Madonna One card?

Your Madonna One card is your student ID, contains your meal plan or crusader cash and determines how refunds are disbursed. We partner with Bank Mobile for all refunds. Bank Mobile is an online bank and one of the largest processors of student refunds across the nation. A Madonna One card is not a credit card. It is an ID card unless the student chooses the refund preference of opening a Bank Mobile Vibe checking account and debit Mastercard functions..

Why do I need a Refund Selection Kit?

The Refund Selection Kit is your key to selecting how you would like to receive a financial aid or university refund you may be due. The Bank Mobile Vibe checking account and Debit MasterCard® functions of the Madonna One card are completely optional and you are under no obligation to use the card as a debit card.

Whether you are receiving a refund or not, it is important that you go online and select how you’d like to receive it. That way, future refunds won’t be delayed.

How do I get a Refund Selection Kit and Madonna One Card ID?

The first step is to have your picture taken. See staff in mail room on main floor of administration building in room 1201. At the time your photo is taken you will be given a white temporary card. If you have a meal plan or crusader cash, these will be added to your temporary card. 

A green envelope from Bank Mobile will be mailed to you 7 to 10 business days after your photo is taken. Inside will be your permanent blue and gold card and instructions to select your refund preference and activate your ID card. After receiving your blue and gold card dispose of the white temporary card.

New or returning students who are not enrolled two weeks prior to the start of the semester, or who do not have a photo on file two weeks prior to the start of the semester, or who complete their financial aid after the recommended date may wait up to three weeks for the Refund Selection Kit which includes their Madonna One card ID.

How do I choose a refund preference?

First activate your card using the instructions which arrived in the green envelope from Bank Mobile. Next, log into your Bank Mobile account and select one of two refund preferences:

  • Deposit to an existing account – Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day Bank Mobile receives funds from your school.  Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
  • Deposit to a Bank Mobile Vibe account  – If you open a Bank Mobile Vibe checking account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day Bank Mobile receives funds from your school.

Lost your card?

If your card is lost or stolen, you can request a replacement Madonna One card from the Student Accounts office. There is a $10 replacement fee per occurrence.
