Your Madonna One card is your student ID, contains your meal plan or Crusader cash and determines how refunds are disbursed. We partner with Bank Mobile for all refunds. Bank Mobile is an online bank and one of the largest processors of student refunds across the nation. A Madonna One card is not a credit card. It is only an ID card until the student chooses the refund preference of opening a bank account with Bank Mobile. At that time the Madonna One card becomes a debit card for that account.
Financial aid refunds are disbursed to the student according the refund selection chosen with Bank Mobile.
The card is your key to selecting how you would like to receive any financial aid or university refund. The Bank Mobile account and Debit MasterCard® functions of the Madonna One card are completely optional and you are under no obligation to use the card as a debit card.
Whether you are receiving a refund or not, it is important that you go online and select how you’d like to receive a refund. That way, future refunds won’t be delayed.
The first step is to have your picture taken. See staff in copy center/mail room on main floor of administration building in room 1200. At the time your photo is taken you will be given a white temporary card. If you have a meal plan or crusader cash, these can be added to your temporary card. See below.
In 7 to 10 business days a green envelope will arrive from Bank Mobile with your permanent blue and gold card and activation instructions.
After receiving your blue and gold card dispose of the white temporary card.
Come to the student accounts office to have your meals and crusader cash transferred to either a temporary card or your Madonna One card.
After activating your Madonna One card log into your Bank Mobile account. Select one of two refund preferences:
Directly to Madonna One card: When funds are disbursed, they’re deposited on your card the same day.
Direct Deposit: to your current checking or savings account. (takes three days or more.)
New or returning students who are not enrolled two weeks prior to the start of the semester, or who do not have a photo on file two weeks prior to the start of the semester, or who complete their financial aid after the recommended date may wait up to three weeks for their Madonna One card. These students will be responsible for purchasing their own books and supplies until their card has been activated and the refund processed. For more information, including disbursement dates, contact Student Accounts at 734-432-5600 or email@example.com.
If your card is lost or stolen, you can request a replacement Madonna One card from the Student Accounts office. There is a $10 replacement fee per occurrence.
