Congratulations, Madonna University Graduates!

Madonna University is excited to welcome our guests to the 73rd and 74th Commencement Ceremonies!  Madonna University will follow all state and local health department guidelines in place at the time of the event to ensure the safety of our graduates, faculty and staff, and guests. The Madonna’s Cares: Campus Reopening Plan remains in effect.

The ceremonies will be held outdoors, even if there is light rain.  Rain ponchos will be available.  If a threat or existence of a thunderstorm or lightning cancels a ceremony, graduates will be invited to attend one of the other ceremonies that weekend as capacity allows. In the event of cancellation, graduates will receive updated information about tickets, capacity, and event details.

Commencement is a ticketed event. No entry will be permitted without a ticket. All people are required to have a ticket, including babies and children. Each graduate will receive the number of tickets they requested (maximum of 6 tickets per graduate) and will be required to identify the attendees. These limitations on tickets are to ensure all graduates may share this event with their family and friends, as well as ensure a safe event for all in attendance. Our anticipated attendance for these events will be 600-900 people. If you or your guests feel uncomfortable attending this event, please join us virtually. Our Commencement will be livestreamed on our website.

In order to comply with the COVID-19 protocols, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • All event attendees (including children) must complete a COVID-19 screening form the day of the event at https://desktop.returnsafe.com/code/madonnauniversity. Please be prepared to show your completed form at the ticket
  • When you arrive, you must present your ticket and confirmation of a completed COVID- 19 screening
  • All attendees coming to campus will be required to wear a mask covering the mouth and nose at all times and to maintain 6-foot physical distance. This CDC video shows how to properly wear a mask:

  • Anyone failing to comply will not be permitted access to the ceremony or will be required to leave. A limited number of disposable masks will be available on site should you need a replacement.
  • If there is exposure to COVID-19 at your event, every attempt will be made to contact attendees by the Campus Health Officer.
