LIVONIA, MICH. – The Madonna University football team has launched a new initiative, "Fist Bump Fridays," to connect with young students in the Livonia community.
For the past several weeks, team members have visited a local elementary school each Friday morning to greet students as they arrive. So far, Crusaders have stopped by Hoover and Randolph Elementary Schools, high-fiving and chatting with students to share some pre-weekend excitement.
This program aims to build positive relationships between university athletes and the younger generation, fostering a sense of community spirit. The initiative has been well-received, and the team looks forward to visiting more schools in the coming weeks.
