Madonna University Nursing Programs Awarded Full CCNE Reaccreditation

Five diverse nursing professionals

LIVONIA, Mich. – Madonna University’s College of Nursing and Health has been awarded full reaccreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for all of its nursing programs: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, and the post-graduate APRN certificate program. Each program was granted accreditation for a 10-year term, extending through June 30, 2036.

Madonna’s reaccreditation efforts were led by Roxanne Roth, DNP, RN, CNE. “This achievement is a testament to the collaborative spirit that has long defined Madonna University’s approach to nursing education,” said Roth, Associate Professor and Dean of the College of Nursing and Health. “Our faculty and students carry on the rich history of Madonna University’s commitment to serving our community. Reaccreditation affirms what we have always known: that together, we are preparing nurses who are not only clinically excellent, but who are ready to serve with compassion, integrity, and respect. We are grateful for our community partners that continue to open their doors and their expertise to help shape the next generation of nursing professionals.”

As part of Madonna’s ongoing accreditation maintenance, the university will submit a continuous improvement progress report to CCNE by June 1, 2031, and will undergo its next full on-site evaluation in the fall of 2035. Madonna University extends its congratulations to the faculty, staff, and students of the College of Nursing and Health for continuing to set the high bar for excellence in nursing education!
