LIVONIA, MICH. – Just months after graduating from Madonna University, Brandon Siedlik has already worked alongside Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, and Michael Urie.
Siedlik, who earned his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Cinema Arts in May 2026, spent the fall as a production on season 4 of Apple TV’s comedy-drama Shrinking.
He was able to get the job through a friend he met while working on HBO’s Lanterns in summer 2025. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has also worked on new films from directors Nancy Meyers, Gavin O’Connor, and David Robert Mitchell.
When asked what is was like working with Hollywood stars, Siedlik said, “it’s awesome getting to work with big people like Michael, Harrison, and Jason, but just after a few moments beside them, they’re normal people just like everybody else.”
Siedlik was quick to shout out the people who helped get him to Los Angeles: his BCA professors Suzanne Boyd, Dan Boyd, Chris Nickin, Paula Fournier, and Cheryl Chodun.
“I’d, of course, like to thank all five of my professors in the BCA department,” he added, “all of whom prepared me for set life on big studio work.”
