Madonna University Places 38th in NAIA Directors' Cup for Ninth Straight Year

LIVONIA, MICH. – Madonna University has earned a 38th place finish in the prestigious NAIA LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings, marking the ninth straight year the Crusaders have placed in the Top 80 nationally. The university totaled 436 points in the competition that recognizes overall athletic excellence across all sports.

"Overall, I'm very proud of the accomplishments of our athletes, coaches, and teams this year," said Director of Athletics Noel Emenhiser. "We've seen tremendous growth in programs that compete at a high level in the conference and on the national stage, which is reflected in the Learfield Cup standings."

Madonna had eight programs qualify for postseason competition, with all finishing in the Top 40 nationally in their respective sports. The Crusaders earned 40 NAIA All-American honors across all sports during the 2024-25 season, with standout performances including a second-place finish in men's outdoor track & field and third-place finishes in women's indoor track & field and men's lacrosse.
