Congratulations, 2018-2019 Madonna University Graduates!

The President’s Reception for Graduates is hosted by President and Mrs. Grandillo. It is for all graduating students (by invitation only) both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Invitations will be mailed and emailed in late February. RSVP by completing the Participation Form.

The reception on Wednesday, April 24 from 6-7:30 p.m., will host the graduates of the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Education, and the College of Natural and Social Sciences. The reception on Thursday, April 25 from 6-7:30 p.m., will host the graduates of the School of Business and the College of Nursing and Health.

  • Invitation includes the address for the President’s House in Northville, Michigan.
  • Business casual is the suggested attire (no denim, please). For example, nice slacks, collared shirt, ties, or dresses for ladies.
  • Shuttle service will be available from Northwood Corporate Park (41700 Six Mile Road Northville, Michigan 48168) to the President’s House. Students are encouraged to take the shuttle.
  • Limited mobility parking is available. Email prezevents@madonna.edu for more information.
  • Confirmation provides on-site event details and will be emailed a week prior to the reception.
  • Graduates are encouraged to attend the reception for the school or college from which they will earn their degree; however if their schedule does not allow for that, they may attend the other reception.

This reception provides a chance for graduating students to celebrate their academic achievements and upcoming graduation with President Michael A. Grandillo, Ph.D., Provost Jim O'Neill, Ph.D., university leadership, members of the commencement committee, the college deans and faculty, and other graduating students. Representatives of the alumni department will be available to answer questions about staying connected to MU after graduation.
