Housing Options at Madonna University

Welcome home! Madonna University offers four residence halls designed to fit every stage of your college journey - from your first year on campus to your final semester before graduation. 

Residence Halls

  • Francis Hall - A lively, central community offering small single, large single, double, and quad rooms with community-style bathrooms and shared common areas. 
  • Felix Hall & Clare Hall - Modern residence halls featuring single and double rooms with private, single-use bathrooms shared among residents of the same gender.
  • Angela Hall - Apartment-style living reserved for junior and senior students, featuring five-bedroom, two-bathroom units with full kitchens and living spaces. 

WiFi, laundry, and cable access are included in all residence halls at no additional charge. All on-campus residents are required to have a meal plan, though reduced-cost plans are available for students living in Angela Hall. Additional details, including floor plans and photos, are available on each residence hall’s individual page.

How to Apply for Housing

To participate in the housing selection process, students must first submit their Residence Hall Student Enrollment Deposit, then submit a Housing Application.

The Housing Sign-up page is your go-to resource for everything housing-related: logging into the application, submitting deposits and contracts, requesting accommodations, addressing concerns, and more. 

 

Room Selection & Roommate Selection - Returning Residential Students

Returning residential students (any student who currently resides on campus) will complete online roommate matching and room selection through the housing portal. 

  • Selection order is determined by earned credit hours
  • Complete the roommate matching/ selection process before room selection begins
  • Room selection dates and times will be sent via Madonna email (students must submit their housing application to be eligible) 

Room Selection & Roommate Selection - New Residential Students

New residential students (any student who does not currently reside on campus, including transfer students, first-year students, or current Madonna students living off-campus) will indicate preferred room types in their online housing application. These preferences will guide the assignment process, though specific room types are not guaranteed. 

  • Students should email residencelife@madonna.edu with the name(s) of any preferred roommates prior to assignments
  • Students without preferred roommates will be matched based on compatibility through the housing application responses
  • Room assignment order is determined by the date the housing application is completed
