
Kara Suwarsky is an Admissions Officer at Madonna University, where she guides prospective students through the recruitment and enrollment process while collaborating across campus to achieve strategic admissions goals. She brings a diverse background in higher education, senior living management, and healthcare operations.
Before joining Madonna, Kara served as an Assistant Director/Operations Manager and Life Enrichment Director within senior living communities, developing wellness, engagement, and compliance initiatives that enhanced organizational culture and resident wellbeing. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience in rehabilitation and health information management, strengthening her attention to detail, empathy, and operational leadership.
Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and an Associate in Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, and she is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Leadership at Madonna University.
Outside of work, Kara enjoys hiking, photography, and exploring the benefits of pet therapy with her two golden retrievers, Olive and Frank. She is passionate about supporting students as they explore their academic goals and invites all future Crusaders to reach out, visit campus, and discover how Madonna University can help them achieve their dreams!
