There are many opportunities at Madonna University for students, faculty members, and staff to profit from an international perspective in the academic offerings as well as take advantage of international study in other countries. The University campus reflects the global community. International representatives comprise more than 5 percent of the student population. These individuals come from more than 40 different countries in the four corners of the world. There are many academic programs in business, education, nursing, social sciences, humanities, hospice and palliative studies, graphic design, and others. More than 20 languages are spoken by faculty and staff, and hundreds of inquiries requesting information come in annually from all over the world. This university is truly a microcosm of the world. Mission and Goals The mission of the Center for Study Abroad is to initiate, promote, support, and administer university programs related to study abroad and foreign travel, to develop and implement strategies for internationalizing the curriculum, and to serve as a professional development resource for students, faculty, and staff related to global education.
