65% of students are taking a single course at the Orchard Lake Center, and taking other courses in Livonia. Around 25 Madonna undergraduate students are taking a full-time load (i.e., 12 or more semester hours) with all their courses at the Orchard Lake Center. They range from first-year students to seniors. Approximately the same number of students at the Orchard Lake Center take classes starting before 4:00 pm as those who take classes starting after 4:00 pm.  Students taking courses at the Orchard Lake Center are pursuing majors housed in all of Madonna University’s schools and colleges (i.e., Arts and Humanities, Nursing, Social Sciences, etc.). The largest number of students come from the School of Business. 53% of undergraduates studying at the Orchard Lake Center are juniors and seniors. 60% of the faculty teaching at the Orchard Lake Center are full-time Madonna University faculty. Although Madonna University faculty teach on the main campus in Livonia as well as any off-campus site, including MU-Orchard Lake Center and MU-Southwest Detroit, there are 11 full-time faculty whose home-base is the Orchard Lake Center. There are also 5 full-time staff based at the Orchard Lake Center. These two facts are about Madonna University students as a whole: Over 1,400 Madonna University students hail from Oakland County, adding up to nearly a quarter of all Madonna University students (credit and noncredit) in 2005. Well over twice the number of credit hours were earned in 2004-2005 by transfer students compared to students who came to Madonna University as brand-new freshmen.
