What is UNV 1010?

University 1010 is only one part of a first-year student's Madonna University Experience. UNV 1010 is an introductory level college course designed to provide first-year students with information and insight into themselves and into the demands of higher education.

 

What do students learn in UNV 1010?

UNV 1010 introduces students to University policies and procedures, assists them in developing study strategies and college level thinking, time and stress management skills, personal and multicultural awareness, career exploration, and decision making skills.

 

What is the purpose of UNV 1010?

The purpose of UNV 1010 is to help students meet the challenges of leadership and involvement in order to be more effective students in college.

 

Who is required to take UNV 1010?

All first-year college students age 24 and younger with less than 13 semester hours of college credit are required to register for UNV 1010 as part of their General Education curriculum.
