Madonna University offers students from across the curriculum a variety of academic service learning opportunities. Service learning incorporates Christian humanistic values through community service as a means of gaining deeper understanding of course objectives.

Academic Service Learning: Engages students in active citizenship roles and exposes them to the greater needs of the community. Enriches subject material and supplements course work. Incorporates community service with civic learning to provide real-world experiences beyond the traditional classroom setting. Establishes important relationships between MU constituents and the community. Develops interpersonal and critical-thinking skills through interaction with diverse population groups.
