| Welcome to Madonna University!
The Collaborative Studies Program is Madonna University's signature program for first year students. It links two or three general education courses together so you can take several courses with the same group of students. This makes forming study groups and making friends much easier, especially when you are a new student.
The courses that are linked together are all general education courses that are required of all students in just about any major at any college. Even if you have yet to declare a specific major, you will need to satisfy the university's general education requirements. Collaborative Studies will help you satisfy university requirements in a supportive yet academically challenging way. You will become part of a community of learners!
Education at any level is social, it is about connections. Through the Collaborative Studies Program, students form connections with fellow students, connections with their instructors and connections with the community. Education is also about academics. The Collaborative Studies instructors work together to help students understand how the information they learn in one course is connected to their other courses.
