Pre-Professional
Professional schools and programs
vary in academic requirements for admission. Some professional programs require that the student complete a bachelor’s degree before enrolling. Others allow a student to transfer to another institution after two years of full-time study at Madonna University for the completion of the professional program. Students are encouraged to contact admissions offices at each school for admission requirements as you begin your studies at Madonna University.

Pre-medicine students interested in attending either allopathic (M.D.) or osteopathic (D.O.) medical schools may major in any area of specialization, since overall undergraduate grade point average is an important criterion for admission to a professional school. Other admission criteria for various pre-professional programs include science grade point average and scores on a national standardized exam such as Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), Dental College Admission Test (DCAT), or Graduate Record Exam (GRE), as well as interviews, written essays and related patient-care experience.
