Mary Urisko, co-author of West's Paralegal Today 5th ed., and assistant director of the program, teaches Law 1000: Introduction to Paralegal Studies in the evenings. This course is an excellent method of exploring the paralegal profession further to determine if it is for you.
Jennifer Coté, the department chair, is the past Chair of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Paralegals Approval Commission. This commission is responsible for approval of Paralegal education programs. The standards utilized by the commission ensure quality educational programs. This service to the ABA brings a wealth of current knowledge and high quality to the program at Madonna University.
