Welcome to the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) program.

If you plan to pursue a career in teaching, enjoy working with people representing various linguistic and cultural backgrounds, and have interest in the English language, this program is for you. Our MATESOL program will prepare you well for the challenges of teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language whether you are interested in working in the U.S. or abroad. Our flexible curriculum meets the needs of those preparing for adult education as well as K-12 teachers who may pursue the NS endorsement. A well-balanced blend of theoretical and classroom-oriented methods courses will give you a competitive edge in the ever growing domestic and international job market in the field of Teaching English to speakers of Other Languages.

Our dedicated and experienced instructors will help you gain necessary knowledge and master your teaching skills, so you can succeed as an ESL professional.
