Welcome to the Department of History and Social Science at Madonna University.  We think you have a right to ask for the world at Madonna; in fact we positively encourage it!  The Department of History (which includes courses for a History major, a Social Studies major, and Political Science minor), leads the University in international studies and world citizenship.  We are very proud of the quality and number of classes offered.  We also believe that the faculty of this department have credentials, experience, and dedication surpassed by none.

We believe it extremely important to point the way for you - being an advisor to you is not secondary to us!  We pride ourselves in providing you with the best possible help preparing your college career.  We will help you combine your work in history or social studies with other professional majors and minors, including teacher education and pre-law studies.  It does not end after graduation--we endeavor to guide your consideration of post-graduate studies and employment.
