The family & consumer sciences program offers a bachelor’s degree. The major may be used for elementary and secondary teaching certificates. A secondary teacher vocational authorization is also available.

                                      Program History/Mission

Historically the mission of family and consumer sciences has been to aid individual and family well-being. Madonna University offers this major to prepare teachers to instruct children and youth to provide for their own social, emotional, physical and economic well-being. Students may also select this major without the teacher education program.
