Choosing Your Major 

There are several options that Madonna University offers to help with choosing your major:

University 1010:  Orientation to Higher Learning is designed to provide first-year students with information about skills needed to be successful in College. University 1010 creates an atmosphere that fosters dialogue among students as well as assist students in helpful tools to use in college such as; time management, critical thinking skills, study habits, stress management skills, career pathways, decision making skills, and personal and multicultural awareness.

University 1010 course is an excellent opportunity for students to focus on individual needs, career assessments and learn the demands of higher education. The greatest potential for participating in University 1010 is that the informal setting of this course allows students to express their desires while learning techniques that will assist in other courses during their college experience.

SIGI PLUS:  Developed by a team of researchers and specialists at Educational Testing Service (ETS), SIGI PLUS (System of Interactive Guidance and Information PLUS) is one of the most advanced, most sophisticated computerized career guidance systems available. It combines the unique capabilities of the computer with thoroughly researched databases of occupations, skills, interests, work-related values, educational programs, and more.
