The Paralegal Studies program was the first in Wayne County to be approved by the American Bar Association and has enjoyed more than 28 years of continuous approval. The department offers associate, bachelor's, post-bachelor's and post-BSN certificate programs. Features include:
• Small class sizes • Evening and weekend course times • Professors who are practicing attorneys and paralegals • A wide range of Paralegal elective courses
Mary Urisko, co-author of "Paralegal Today," sixth edition and assistant director of the program, teaches Introduction to Paralegal Studies in the evenings. This course is an excellent way to further explore the paralegal profession to determine if it is for you.
Jennifer Coté, the department chair, was a past Chair of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Paralegals Approval Commission. This commission is responsible for approval of Paralegal education programs and ensures the quality educational programs. The commission's service to the ABA brings a wealth of current knowledge and high quality to Madonna University's program at Madonna University.
We provide extensive academic advising at Madonna University and encourage you to schedule an appointment to discuss your college plans. If you would like to make an appointment to meet with an advisor, please call 734-432-5570.
Contact Ms. Coté at 734-432-5549 or Ms. Urisko at 734-432-5548 to discuss the program or for further assistance (Ms. Urisko handles Summer advising).
