About the Madonna University Student Emergency Relief Fund Proceeds from the Crusader 5K and Madonna Mile will benefit the Madonna University Student Emergency Relief Fund. This fund is distributed to students who need financial support in emergency situations. Madonna University is committed to offering students a liberal arts education in the Catholic and Franciscan tradition. If students face a situation preventing them from attending classes, completing assignments, or earning their degree, this fund is used to assist them if we can.

Awards Runners/walkers in the Madonna Mile will receive finisher ribbons. Medals will be awarded to the top three runners/walkers in the Crusader 5K in each gender for the following age groups: • 18 and under • 19 – 29 • 30 – 39 • 40 – 49 • 50 – 59 • 60+
50/50 Raffle On Race Day runners/walkers and spectators will have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 raffle. You must be present to win.
Timing and the Course Electronic timing for the Crusader 5K will be handled by Running Fit Timing. The Madonna Mile will not be timed. The USATF-certified course begins at Madonna University’s Activities Center and participants are routed around the properties of the Felician Sister’s Central Convent, Ladywood High School, the Montessori and back to Madonna’s Activities Center. The course is 100 percent paved. A course map will be included in your packet. No pets. No rollerblades.
