Visit your Department Office All graduate students are encouraged to visit their departments as soon as they arrive on campus. Introduce yourself to the department secretary and learn who the department chair is. Also, inquire if there is information you still need to complete. Get your MU ID Card and number if you don't already have it Don’t forget to stop by the Office of Student Life in Room 1001 to pick up your student ID card. It must be updated in Office of Student Life or Registrar’s Office with a current sticker for each semester. The ID card is needed to use the computer labs and to check out books from the library. Replacement cards are $5. You need your student ID number to register online and for many other University transactions.

If you have not registered, you may obtain this in person from the Registrar's Office. Go to My Portal to verify your address and other contact information such as your email address. You may change these at any time. Remember to keep this information updated for the speediest communication from the University.
