The symposium for research, scholarship and creativity is presented by Madonna Universities Center for Research. It will be held on April 8, 2015 from 1-6 p.m. in Kresge Hall and the Franciscan Center. This event gives students and faculty the opportunity to present their research to the public. It gives students, faculty and community firsthand experience with 3-D printing and to observe how the process works. The forensic science program will be presenting interactive demonstrations to lift impression and visualize them with an alternative light source and perform hands on chemistry techniques for drug identification. After the scholarly presentations are finished, breakout sessions with speakers and panel discussions give individuals a chance to network and further discuss the research. Rewards, prizes and refreshments will be offered in the Franciscan Center.
