Why did you choose Madonna University?
I originally chose Madonna as an undergrad student due to the quality reputation of College of Education graduates. I returned to Madonna as a graduate student for that same reason, as well as the fact they had recently developed the degree I was interested in.

What do you think makes the experience and education at Madonna Special?
Madonna is not only geographically convenient, but the graduate courses are scheduled and taught with the working professional in mind. In addition, the professors are supportive and very dedicated to their student's success.

What have you been doing since graduation, career wise? (graduate school, employer?)
Upon earning a Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs, I have received a promotion from my employer. I am excited to announce that I now serve as the Director of Matriculation for Madonna University's College of Education.

How has your Madonna degree played a role in your current position?
Earning a Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs has provided me with the education needed to move to the next step in my career (a director position).

What has been your most rewarding professional or personal experience since graduating?
Since graduating and becoming the Director of Matriculation, I have truly enjoyed assisting students through their own degree journeys. To be a part of someone's growth in opportunity is extremely rewarding.

Why did you choose Madonna University?
The courses and the curriculum were exactly what I was looking for when choosing my Master's program. It was broad enough to cover many aspects of Higher Education & Student Affairs - but not too broad. Knowing the schedule ahead of time (every Wednesday for 2 years) was very convenient when planning for work and family. That was a HUGE part of my decision.

What do you think makes the experience and education at Madonna special?
I would never be able to express how much I learned from the small class size and cohort model. Going through the program with the same group of people was extremely helpful when navigating a graduate level program. I also found a huge value in having the same instructors - and ones that worked in higher education during the day. Hearing their experience and learning from them was an incredible asset.

What have you been doing since graduation, career wise? (graduate school, employer?)
I am currently working with the University of Michigan-Flint as a recruiter and academic advisor. I plan to pursue my PhD in the future -- distant future.

How has your Madonna degree played a role in your current position?
Since receiving my degree I received a promotion and a raise with my current position. I have also received added responsibilities and opportunities.

What has been your most rewarding professional or personal experience since graduating?
There is a lot more respect within the field when a person receives a Master's degree. I am asked to be on more committees, assist others with making significant decisions, and brought into meetings to add my ideas.
