Sociology, as it is approached here at Madonna University, is solidly within the liberal arts tradition. We seek to provide students with a clear sense of the relationship between the individual and society within a historical context. We also recognize that in the 21st century students need to make informed career decisions. Sociology can be an appropriate major as students seek to understand self and society, as well as prepare for exciting careers in a variety of organizational settings.

Feel free to contact us regarding our programs in the Sociology Department. As Sociologists and members of the American Sociological Association, we can be useful resources as you think about academic and career possibilities.
