Auditions and Entrance Requirements Auditions for new and transfer students are held during November, December, February and March (see Calendar of Events for this year's dates). Applied Music Audition Music majors pursuing a Bachelor of Arts must show sufficient skill in their chosen applied instruments to succeed in the Theory sequence and upper-division music courses. Instrument or voice: one selected piece |

Applied Music Audition All music majors are required to pass an applied music audition in their primary instrument. |

Music Minors We enthusiastically welcome music minors into our program. Applied music requirements for this area are determined by each faculty member individually. We recommend you take your 10 hours of applied music in one instrument; if you choose to study in more than one area, a majority of the 10 hours must be in one instrument.
