The Department of History seeks to promote intellectual excellence while preparing students for meaningful roles in the contemporary world through a critical study of human experiences through time.
The Political Science program helps prepare students for careers in law, public administration, political science and education. With courses in American Government, State and Local Government, International Relations and Comparative Government, the Political Science program is an excellent complement to a major in Social Studies or History for Teacher Education students. Pre-law students often include the Political Science minor in their preparation for law school. The faculty members teaching Political Science courses have the credentials, experience, and dedication to make your studies rewarding and successful. Your success is our greatest achievement!
