Instruction Center – Simulation Lab

The Instruction Center, designed to serve the laboratory and practice needs of students in the Nursing program, is comprised of the Helene Fuld Computer Assisted Instruction Center and the Ray A. and Jean S. Shapero Nursing Instruction Center, and is presently located in the Angelo DiPonio Building Rooms 145-147 with an expected move in 2011 to the Academic Building. The Instruction Center consists of an auto-tutorial area equipped with computers and practice lab. The lab provides clinical equipment for student practice integrating patient simulations technology in the nursing curriculum.

The IC Computer Lab is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and appointments are not necessary to view or use instructional programs. The Practice Lab maintains evenings hours with a posted schedule. Students are advised to refer to the Course Specific Policies in each syllabus for faculty requirements for use of the Practice Lab.
