Early Action Admission Policy for Master of Science in Clinical Psychology
Early Action Admission is an application option for candidates who are serious about plans to attend a clinical psychology master's program and desire to have their files reviewed well in advance of the anticipated Fall semester of enrollment. This option is reserved for strong candidates who have earned a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.4 from their bachelor's degree course work. The candidates must meet all other eligibility and application requirements and submit all components of the application by Oct 31. Decisions regarding admission will be made by December 15 and students will be notified immediately. Admitted students will be expected to notify the Graduate Studies Office of their decision to accept or decline admission by January 15.

Note that an applicant need not use this Early Action option. Applications received after October 31 will be reviewed following the regular application schedule beginning February 1 for the Fall semester. Review of applications begins on February 1 and continues until the limited number of seats is filled.

Additionally, please be advised that this Early Action option is not intended to deter students whose GPA falls below 3.4. Admission is certainly possible for those applicants whose GPA falls between 3.0 and 3.4.
