The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program prepares the advanced practice nurse to diagnose and manage primary health needs of adolescents and adults, especially those of the vulnerable, the underserved, and diverse populations.
The curriculum addresses comprehensive health assessment of clients, disease management, health promotion, guidance and counseling of individuals and families, and multi-disciplinary collaboration and referral. |
