The Department of History seeks to promote intellectual excellence while preparing students for meaningful roles in the contemporary world through a critical study of human experiences through time.
The Certificate of Achievement in International Studies program provides students with an opportunity to add significant global and 21st century dimension to their chosen field of study while enhancing marketability with a globally-informed position in their career paths. Students in any program may add the certificate to their credentials without adding appreciably to the number of courses required for graduation. Selected courses from general education and professional or major curricula are integrated into the International Studies program. Students participate in studies of a foreign culture and demonstrate a basic proficiency in the given language.
This may be the credential that distinguishes you from other professionals in your field!
