The mission of the Art Department is to instill Christian humanistic values in its students while offering intellectual inquiry in the arts, and a commitment to serve others through a liberal arts education. Integrated with career preparation in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Art History, and teacher preparation, the Art program is based on truths and principles recognized within a Catholic Tradition.

The Art Department at Madonna University has a personal, supportive approach to strengthen the development of students. Through advising, course work, and mentoring, we nurture each student's ability while closely monitoring his or her growth.
