As part of the Gerontology Department, the mission of the Eldercare Practice Certificate is to prepare students to address the concerns of an aging population and to promote the potential of people in their later years. 

This short-term plan of study focuses entirely on building the skills required for entry-level care management with older clients. It fits nicely with studies and careers in social work, hospice and nursing.
