The Aging Studies Program offers a flexible, convenient opportunity for personal growth, higher education, and professional development for persons interested in aging and in working with older adults in various environments.

In 1974, Madonna University established one of the first undergraduate Aging Studies programs  in the country. Currently, it is the only undergraduate Department of Aging Studies in the State of Michigan and is one of few in the nation. The mission of the Department of Aging Studies is to prepare students to address the concerns of an aging population and to promote the potential of people in their later years.
