The mission of Madonna University’s Master of Science in Humane Studies program is to provide advanced professional preparation to organization leaders in the areas of social justice, sustainability, and animal protection through rigorous intellectual inquiry, application of theoretical knowledge to finding ethical solutions to real-life problems, and community-based service–learning experiences. 
 
The Master of Science in Humane Studies prepares leaders, consultants, and educators for newly-emerging positions in the cutting-edge field of humane studies. The Program interconnects social justice, sustainability, and animal protection. 
 
The program is designed for those who wish to work in a variety of professional settings (non-profit organizations, businesses, governmental agencies, churches, and educational institutions). The program prepares leaders capable of developing practical solutions to current challenges affecting the well-being of people, the environment, and animals.
