The focus of this post-master’s certificate is to prepare nurse practitioners to diagnose and manage primary health care needs to adolescents and adults, especially those of the vulnerable, the underserved, and diverse populations.

The curriculum addresses comprehensive health assessment of clients, disease management, health promotion, guidance and counseling of individuals and families, and multi-disciplinary collaboration and referral.
