The Human Resources Management program addresses the organizational functions responsible for the identification, recruitment and retention of employees. An efficient and productive workforce is critical to the successful operation of any business. Building on a core of fundamental orientations to the discipline, the program addresses the principle competencies utilized within effective human resources management.

A unique feature of the Human Resources Management program is while preparing students for roles within the HRM functions, the skills and abilities developed are useful to students of other disciplines who foresee general management in their future. A Human Resources Management degree is useful in virtually all phases of organizational life, from production and marketing to accounting and logistics, as firms are consistently looking for talented, people-oriented managers who can influence employees to optimum levels of productivity and performance.
