The Department of History seeks to promote intellectual excellence while preparing students for meaningful roles in the contemporary world through a critical study of human experiences through time.

The Department of History leads the university in American and international historical studies. The history faculty helps students learn to respond to open-ended, real-life problems related to a variety of human experiences throughout time. Students will learn valuable techniques of analysis, synthesis, inquiry, research, and writing. The History program prepares students to continue graduate studies in history and other professional areas, such as education, law, government, and business. The faculty members of the Department of History have the credentials, experience and dedication to offer Madonna University students a rewarding and successful experience. The Department of History welcomes your inquiries. Your success is our greatest achievement!
