The Family and Consumer Sciences program offers a bachelor's degree useful for secondary teacher certification. A secondary Vocational Authorization (IOC) is also available. The mission of Family and Consumer Sciences is to aid individual and family well-being. Madonna University offers this major to equip teachers with the skills needed for instructing children and youth to provide their own social, emotional, physical and economic well-being.

Students may also select this major without the teacher education program. Quality faculty from the disciplines of Child Development, Dietetics and Nutrition, Food Science, Health, Merchandising, and Business collaborate to teach this program.
