The English/Journalism major and minor provide students with a great deal of flexibility with only four required courses, two each in English and Journalism, allowing students to pick the courses that best meet their particular needs and interests.

On the English side, students select from dozens of literature, technical writing and creative writing courses. In Journalism, students choose from courses in news reporting and writing, photography, public relations, graphic design, marketing, and broadcasting.
