The Forensic Psychology Certificate of Completion provides students with an introduction to the broad and evolving field of forensic psychology – the branch of psychology that focuses on the intersection of the law and the science of psychology. Through a 17-semester-hour combination of courses in psychology and criminal justice, students learn about psychological disorders, personality types and the various specialties within forensic psychology. Students also gain an understanding of the criminal justice system and the science of criminology, one of the key areas where forensic psychologists make their contributions.

This Certificate of Completion program is designed for students who already hold a baccalaureate degree or are pursuing one. The certificate credential will not be awarded until a baccalaureate degree is completed.
